The Slipway Sheds

A series of design and creative-entrepreneurship discussions and workshops at the historic Slipway Sheds. Speakers include:

  • Mathew Bate, journalist, author of children’s seaweed book With A Little Kelp from Our Friends, recently published by Thames & Hudson.

  • Chris Stanley of Splinter Society Architects, discussing the design for the Metung Hot Springs.

  • Nikhila Madabhushi, architect and lecturer, focussing on rethinking ‘community-led’ recovery of built environments in the regional Victorian context following the bushfires in East Gippsland / Gunaikurnai-Bidwell Country.

  • The founders of Gippslandia quarterly newspaper presenting the story behind this community, non-profit publication.

  • Chris and Gabrielle Moore from Sailors Grave Brewing discussing the design process of their collaborative brews.
