A New Normal: More with Less Past Event

Presented by Fender Katsalidis

Our cities are home to solid, functional, beautiful structures from all ages of history. How can these be part of a future in which buildings touch the earth more lightly, and deliver more for people whilst consuming less? This installation presents a vibrant and visceral representation of the heat flows in and out of our buildings, and the simple fabric-first retrofit strategies that can stop these flows in their tracks.

This event is part of A New Normal, a project led by Finding Infinity that challenges Melbourne to become an entirely self-sufficient city. This is explored through a series of installations and talks by Melbourne’s leading architects and designers in a former office building at 130 Collins Street.
