A Suggestion of a Possibility Past Event
A Suggestion of a Possibility is contemplation on the mise-en-scene of household objects by Nat Turnbull. As the form and function of a once-familiar object is presented with ambiguity, a dialogue forms between the object and the audience as the subject. Each object reveals a situational analysis of our bodies in relation to our everyday objects. Through this contrast, Turnbull considers both subject and household object, and asks for a reinterpretation of the production of meaning within each interaction. A Suggestion of a Possibility provides an opportunity to review the semiotics of our understanding and assignment of essential objects.

Natalie Turnbull
Natalie Turnbull is a stylist and art director based in Melbourne. Inspired by how form and function are used to communicate an idea, she strives for a crisp and minimal aesthetic that allows the subject to speak for itself.
A graduate of Victorian College of the Arts, Natalie combines her spatial awareness with an understanding of shape, material and form and how they work together. She believes an image should not only look good, but it should serve a purpose. As a stylist she acts as a mediator between the two.
