A World We Don’t Want Past Event
Sometimes to find out what we want, we look to the opposite to understand what we don’t want. A World We Don’t Want presents thirteen ideas on a world we don’t want by leading Australian creatives, to speculate on a future we do want.
Contributors include Alterfact, Andrew Carvolth, Andrew Simpson and James Walsh, Dale Hardiman and Stephen Royce, Damien Wright, Flack Studio, Foolscap Studio and Liam Fleming, Guy Keulemans and Kyoko Hashimoto, Marta Figueiredo and Jonathon Griggs, Nicole Lawrence and Thomas Coward, Sam Tomkins and Daniel Licastro, Seljak Brand and Tom Henty.
Alongside Design The World You Don’t Want, Friends & Associates are also presenting two solo exhibitions in the same venue: Drift by Tom Fereday, and A Suggestion of a Possibility by Natalie Turnbull.
These exhibitions are organised by Dale Hardiman and Tom Skeehan as Friends & Associates with graphic and art direction by More Studio. Friends & Associates is an ongoing process-based project initiated by Dale Hardiman and Tom Skeehan in 2017 that has worked with hundreds of creative practitioners, including Adam Goodrum, Christopher Boots, Studio Edwards, Breathe Architecture, ACV Studio, Whiting Architects, Liane Rossler, Elliat Rich, Fiona Lynch, Matt Woods, Ross Gardam, March Studio, Makiko Ryujin, James Lemon, U-P and many others.
