Archipelago is an exhibition showcasing new media works of emerging photographers, designers and visual artists. Engaging with image-making, film, sound, projection, campaign design and installation, inspiration has been drawn from the unique, yet shared, peculiarity of the COVID-19 lockdowns in Melbourne (Naarm/Birrarung-ga) during 2020.

Through personal reflection and visual storytelling, Archipelago serves as a reminder of what individuals can achieve together for the long-term benefit of a community. It also encourages audiences to re-imagine the concept of community and stewardship through deepening understandings of the relationship one has between themselves and the environment around them.

Archipelago is a digital exhibition augmented by a one-night event on March 31 from 5:30-9:30pm.
