10 numbers, 20 designers, 20 sculptures

Base10 is a designer-led project that proposes an alternative attitude to numerical systems through material sensibilities.

It is a collaboration with 20 typographers from around the world, who were each invited to design a number from 0-10, driven to reflect something about their location, whether that be cultural, geographical, historical or socio-political.

The conceptual exhibition presents a collection of 20 perspex sculptures that respond to context through narrative and form. BASE10 breaks concrete conventions to inspire diverse ways we can interpret numbers as art.
