Building a Tesla powered Range Rover in High School Past Event

Presented by David Budge (Jaunt) | Graeme Wiggins (Bendigo Tech School)

This event is now booked out. We will be producing a film of the day, so please contact us via this site or [email protected] if you would like to see it!

Jaunt upcycles iconic four wheel drives into electric cars for adventure.

Australia has one of the lowest adoption rates of electric vehicles in the world, and one of the highest transport emissions per capita. Cars built for adventure dominate our culture and car sales, but this desire to explore can be a catalyst to transform Australia’s transport industry into something with a positive environmental and social impact.

Bendigo Tech School has partnered with Jaunt in this community enterprise in which Bendigo girls will convert a classic 3-door Range Rover to electric operation. This project has has been generously sponsored by Kirkland-Lake Gold through their Community Partnership Program (CPP).

In this NGV Melbourne Design Week talk and factory tour, hear how we design and build a vehicle that challenges automotive conventions.
