I-CONIC Melbourne Design Past Event
Join one of the hosts; Dr Denise Whitehouse, Professor Philip Goad or Peter Maddison, at Walsh Street for a presentation of the I-CONIC Australian Design series of films produced by Ian Wong of Monash Art Design and Architecture and The Robin Boyd Foundation. Each one hour session feature screenings of two of the five short films commissioned by Design Tasmania. The guest host and I-CONIC Australian Design curator Ian Wong will provide an additional presentation and panel discussion.

Dr Denise Whitehouse
Denise Whitehouse is a distinguished design historian, academic, educator, author and curator of design exhibitions. Currently Whitehouse is the John Truscott Foundation Research Fellow.
Professor Philip Goad
Philip Goad is Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Chair of Architecture at the University of Melbourne and has worked extensively as an architect, conservation consultant, and curator. He is an authority on modern Australian architecture and a former President of the Victorian Chapter of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
Peter Maddison
Peter Maddison is a distinguished architect and TV television presenter. He has a Doctor of Design from RMIT University and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. Maddison is also well known for his hosting role of Grand Designs Australia, which is in its tenth year.
Ian Wong
Ian Wong is an academic, collector, curator and program director of the Master of Industrial Design program in China for Monash University. The I-CONIC Australian Design exhibition featured objects from The Ian Wong Collection.
