Making Tight Past Event
Making Tight is a design exhibition and symposium exploring design prototypes for post-Covid urban density. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of closely connecting living, making and recreation. The project explores new models of urban density in which production, agriculture, education, recreation and living are integrated into tight communities. Making Tight presents design works including physical artifacts and projections from architects, designers and urbanists from Australia and abroad, examining three cities – Melbourne, Brisbane and Seoul, at different scales.
