Fusing the microbiology of moss with environmental design, Topiary Mist explores the interplay of fog and moss with prototypes for new urban spaces. The undulating surface of a living, scaled architectural model is inoculated with moss spores, and populated by architectonic elements. As distinct fog formations arise from this surface, fog and moss intermingle and cling to the elements in ever-changing patterns. These changing formations are presented through video.
